#2 20 Weeks
IT’S A BOY!!! We had our 20 weeks ultrasound today and we saw a penis! No doubt about it! The baby is measuring right around 20 weeks and looks great. We are so pleased we got a nice healthy report! During the ultrasound the baby was full of energy! He moved all over the place! So now the name game begins! I am pretty set on one, but we will see if Tom and I can get on the same page!!! ☺ The due date is still March 12th!!! Check back in for more info soon!
#2 18 Weeks
I can’t believe I am already 18 weeks! Thank goodness! I have been feeling better with each day, but still get hit with waves of nausea! I am finally starting to feel a lot of flutters! Tom even felt a few good kicks this week! We are pretty sure it will be another crazy boy, but find out for sure in two weeks! Until then….
#2 16 Weeks
So slowly but surely I am getting my energy back! Still having such a hard time falling and staying asleep! But I am sure it will get better until I am really huge! Haha Sawyer just got over hand/foot/mouth so that has taken a toll on all of us! Thank goodness he has started to get better! My next doc apt is Oct 10th. This is just a routine check up with my doctor. Heart rate and measurements! Next ultrasound is Oct 23rd, so until then we are hanging in there!
#2 14 Weeks
Finally, the end of my 1st trimester! That is the problem with finding out so early, because it seems to take forever to get through these weeks! I am still not feeling well and sleep is a hit and miss thing! I mean my toddler sleeps better then I do! Also I am just trying to eat what and when I can! With Sawyer I could sit down and eat a whole turkey and still want more! This one I have about 10 bites and I am full, and then 2 hours later I will need another 10 bites! I just want to eat! Hahaha! Also my skin is horriable this time and my hair is not getting full! This child is just taking everything from me! ☺ Sawyer is doing well we are practicing being gentle with his stuff animals, baby doll, and dogs! We have a long way to go! HAHA! More to come at 16 weeks!
#2 12 Weeks
Then at our 12 week ultrasound we learned the bleed was healing and the baby was doing great! We saw all the finger and toes, and it even jumped all around my tummy for us! We go again at 16 weeks for more blood work (its routine for genetic testing) and then finally the 20-week ultrasound will happen on October 23rd for find out if we are having a boy or girl! And this is the ultrasound that checks to make sure all the bones and organs are growing correctly! We are really excited! We are hoping for a girl, but are way okay with a boy! It would be nice to have one of each, but if it is another boy, Sawyer and the new boy will be best friends!!! Sooo excited!!
#2 10 Weeks
So we had our 1st ultrasound! The 1st ultrasound (9.5 weeks) showed us one healthy baby. But we also had a clot to deal with. This put me on bed rest for about 2.5 weeks due to the cramps and spotting. (Which totally is a bummer because that is two less weeks I have after the baby is born, but you got to do what you got to do!) It was really hard to explain to a 20 month old that mommy can’t pick him up or wrestle with him! Thank goodness he has his daddy and Nana to help out! The nausea and no sleeping is still around, I am thinking this might last the whole 9 months!
#2 8 weeks!
So here we go again! Round 2!! This is me at 8 weeks! I would just like to say I can't believe I ever complained about anything with my pregnancy with Sawyer. Since about 6 weeks I have not been able to sleep, complete insomnia! That morning sickness was nothing compared to this round! With Sawyer I was feeling well by lunch, this one is all day and night! Thank the Lord for the invention of Zofran! It has saved my life! I am taking it about every 4-6 hours! I am not sure what I would do without it!!! Not to mention chasing a toddler (and a very stubborn one at that) around all day is crazy! But I would not change it for the world!! More to come at 12 weeks!
