36 Weeks!

So we made it to 36 weeks! At 32 weeks the ultrasound showed that Sawyer was frank breech and we already scheduled the C-Section for January 4Th. Tom and I were finally mentally prepared for this, and guess what....At this ultrasound he flipped! Everyone was surprised because no one thought there would be enough room for him to get turned all the way around! But he proved us all wrong! So we are back to the vaginal birth we planned on from the start! I am so excited, it is so much better for the baby and also my mom and Tom get to be in the room with me!
Other then the flip, there is not much to tell! I am very uncomfortable and waddle everywhere! Some days I just want him to come out, but I know it is best to let him cook as long as possible! I have six more shifts at work! My final day on January 1st, if I last that long!
Tom and I have the house and car cleaned, hospital bags are packed, all the bedrooms are finished, and we are putting the car seat in this weekend! We will not be posting anything on facebook until after the birth, we don't feel it is necessary, but we do have a phone list in plan and from there the word can be spread around to family and friends!
So now the waiting game starts! Everyone keep your phones near you, because it could happen at any time!!! Love and miss you all!!!

34 weeks!

Only 6 more weeks left, and I can not wait!!! Life is getting hard, I can see my toes but I can't touch them! And the best is when something is in the bottom on the washer or on the floor, I can't reach it because my belly is so big! haha I am still working 12 hour days, and plan on sticking that out until the end! My co-workers have been great though, giving me the little kids which is alot less weight to move around!
Tom and I got the nursery done, and I think it is the best ever! Also I loaded more pictures of our house, that is finally done, on facebook, so if you get time check it out! This coming weekend we are packing the hospital bag, just so everything is ready at any time!
Sawyer is moving all the time, especially at night! He seems to think that I am human punching bag! We can actually see his fist move all round my stomach, so that has caused a few good laughs! Tom is doing great with helping me! I don't know what I would do without him, I mean getting off the couch or getting out of bed is a chore these days! He is the best!
Sawyer is still breech as far as we know. He is actually "frank breech", which means he is butt first and his feet are up by his ears/head! So the plan for a c-section is still on. But we will have the final call by the doctor after the 36 week ultrasound!

32 Weeks!

So it looks like baby Sawyer is going to be just as stubborn as his mom and dad! Three weeks ago at the last ultrasound he was headfirst and ready to go, today we went for your 32 weeks ultrasound and he has flipped. Yes he is breech! So hopefully in the next weeks he will flip again, and we can try to do this the right way! If not Tom and I are okay and educated on C-sections. We have finished our labor and delivery classes as well as breastfeeding. We only have one session left, and that is newborn care and first bath!
The ultrasound today showed that Sawyer is in the 51 percentile for his age! So that is good, we are right one track. According to their calculations he is weighing in at 4lbs 10oz! So it looks like we will have a chunk on our hands! But we will not know the real weight until his birthday!
The girls at work just threw me a baby shower this past weekend, and it was great! We got lots of new stuff including toys, blankets, and diaper bags! We have one more to go, Tom’s office is throwing us one this Saturday! We are so excited! So after this weekend we can go and finish our final shopping and get the nursery done! Don’t worry as soon as it is complete we will have pictures up!!!
Life is getting harder, but lucky I have Tom to help me out! I cannot bend over and pick things up anymore. So that has lead to a lot of laughs! Also I am back to eating like I did the first trimester. ALL THE TIME!!! I just cannot stay full for long, because he is rapidly growing again! ☺ We go to the OBGYN on Monday at 8:45 for your check up, and our next and last ultrasound is December 16th at 9:00am! So we will keep you updated!

30 Weeks!

Our friends throw a Halloween party every year, and this year it was movie couples! What else do you go as almost 8 months pregnant, Juno and Bleeker!!!


Only 10 more weeks left (well maybe less if he comes early)!!! I had a doctors appointment today, and everything looked great! I do NOT have gestational diabetes, which is awesome news because we were all pretty sure I did! My tummy is measuring exactly 30 weeks and his heart rate today was 156! Our next appointment is in two weeks, and the ultrasound is on the 18Th! We can not wait to see him again! As you can see in the picture below I am getting very big. Only 10 weeks left and I have never been so tired in life!!! But that is part of it, and I am sooooooo craving some sushi and other raw seafood! Not much longer! The nursery is coming along, we are not going to post pics of the whole room until after the last two showers, so then everyone can see the finished project! Tom and I watch my belly move every night, and a few nights ago we saw a whole body part move across my belly, it was pretty funny! We also started our classes, and we are learning alot from them. Even though I am a peds nurse, the whole maternity world is a new one to me! Alright I am going to take a nap, love and miss you all!!!

28 Weeks!

I can not wait to meet him!!!!

We have hit 7 months, and I am feeling pretty good! I am starting to lose energy by the end of the day, but I guess that is what happens when you are hauling around a few extra pounds! We had our doctors appointment and ultrasound this week, and everything is looking okay! I go this week for final gestational diabetes testing, so I will keep you all updated on that! The ultrasound was awesome, he is getting so big! He is suppose to be around 2 pounds and he is measuring 3 pounds 3 ounces! So I think we are going to have a big boy on our hands! He might not be in newborn clothes for long!! The ultrasound also showed very very long legs!!! But everything else looked great; the heart, brain, kidneys, and everything else are as healthy as can be!!! Our next ultrasound will be at 32 weeks and our next doctors appointment is in two weeks! Since I am in my 3rd trimester I will be going every two weeks now! We have started to work on the nursery, the changing table/dresser is all put together and Tom hopes to get the crib up and going this week! I have washed all the clothes, blankets, bath stuff and bedding in Dreft, so it is all ready for the big day! We have two more showers we are looking forward too! The girls from work are throwing me one on the Nov. 14Th and then Toms office is throwing us one on Nov. 20Th! I cant wait, we are so thankful for every one's love and support! 26 Weeks!!

This is how many test we took, because we wanted to make sure I was really pregnant! This is to funny!!! HAHA!!!!

We are past the 6 month mark! I can not believe he will be here in less then 3 months! We are getting sooooo excited! I am heading home for my shower in Warsaw this week! It will be great to see my family and friends, because we are not sure when we will be home again (because I am not flying with an infant! :) !! I am feeling pretty good these days! At night time is when it becomes very uncomfortable, because my stomach gets so big at night! I am still carrying him low and he loves to sit on my bladder all day! :) Tom gets to feel him move more and more! I am so excited I get to share that with him now! So things are going well, and we will continue to keep everyone updated! The next post will be at 28 weeks after our appointment and ultrasound!! Hope everyone is doing well, love and miss you all!

24 Weeks!

He is growing and so am I!!!

So we are at the 6 month mark! Only three more to go, this has gone really fast!! It is getting harder to move, bend down, and nothing fits me anymore! I had to give in and go to Motherhood and get some new "mom" clothes!!! I am so excited for my showers, and Tom and I are anxious to start putting together the nursery!!! This last doctors appointment, everything came back perfect, so we are soo happy to hear that! He is growing and developing right on schedule! Our next doctors appointment and ultrasound is October 20Th at 1000am. We are so excited to see him again, if he holds still!!! He is starting to move alot, and I can feel him through out the day! Also he is kicking hard enough sometimes for Tom even to feel him! So that has been exciting!!! We miss and love you all!!!

22 Weeks!!

So only 18 more weeks to go!!! We are getting so excited! This weekend we went and registered for all the baby stuff we will need! You can find these lists at Buy Buy Baby (most of the stuff is from there and the all the furniture) and Babies R Us. It is under Leah Green-Whitehead! You have to have is just like that, or you might not find it!! We just hope we didn't forget anything!!!
Tom is doing well, and staying busy with work! I am fighting a nasty head cold, but I seem to be getting better each day! It is hard to deal when you really can't talk alot of meds! But its okay, as long as there is no fevers!!!
Our next doctor's appointment is on the 23rd at 845am and then our next ultrasound is to follow at 1000am at that same morning! We will update all of you then! 20 weeks!!

This picture was after a long day at work and a big dinner! I think it is going to be a big boy!

Half way point, we made it!!! Today we had our ultrasound and we found out it is a BOY!!! We are so excited, a little Tom is on the way!!! During the ultrasound the baby would not hold still, so we did not get as many pictures today as last time, but above are a few we could actually get!!! There is two of the head, one of the feet, and then one of the...well you guessed it!!!
I am feeling so much better these days! Every once in while I do get nausea, but nothing like the first few months!!! The only thing that drives me crazy right now is eating every two to three hours, but I guess that is good practice for what is to come!!! I think I have felt the baby move a few times, but we are waiting to really feel it in a few weeks! The doctors told us it might be closer to 22 weeks before I really start to feel the movement!
We are planning on registering in about two weeks at Buy Buy Baby and Baby R' Us!!! We will let everyone know when that is complete!!! The next post will be around 22 weeks!!! And the next ultrasound pictures will be around 24 weeks. This was suppose to be our last ultrasound, but since I have colitis they want to keep an eye on the baby for Mal-absorption!!! But don't worry, everything is perfect! Today they looked at the heart, head, kidneys, bones, everything, and it all came back totally normal and perfect!!!! We love and miss you all!!!! 18 Weeks!

So we are almost to the half way point! Reality is setting in and we have lots to do before the big day! We only have two more rooms (one being the nursey) to finish!!! I am so excited for everyone to come and visit and see all the hard work we have done to the house, and the back yard!!!! As for the baby, we are doing well. We continue to listen to the heartbeat every week, and this past Sunday it was 155 and the baby had moved up higher in my tummy!!!
My tummy is getting much bigger and everything is pulling forward! I have felt (butterflies) the baby move a few times, but we are both awaiting the day we can feel it all the time, and when its strong enough for Tom to feel it! Dont forger on Auguest 23rd and 1000am is our next appointment and we will find out if its a boy or girl (if the baby is laying right)!!! We will give all the grandparents a call, dont worry! Ultrasound pics and tummy pics will be up around week 20!! Love and miss you all!!!

16 Weeks!

Wait Tom, I am not ready!!! Haha!




The 4th month!! As you can tell the baby and I are getting much bigger! Today I had my final blood work done, we also found out that Tom is O positive blood and I am O negative blood, so at 7 months I have to get a big shot in my butt incase the baby gets Tom’s blood type. I am not looking forward to that!!! Other wise things are great! I have gain 5 ½ pounds so far!!! We bought our own Doppler so we have been able to hear the baby’s heart beat at home. On Sunday it was 155, so things are great! We go tomorrow to get our 4-month check up.
Tom and I are doing well. Tom is fighting a nasty cold right now, so lots of vitamin C for him. And I am just eating and peeing all day long! Only a few more weeks and we can finally know if it is a boy or girl!! August 23rd, mark it on your calendars!!!! Any guesses? We have names picked out (new ones), but we will share those when we find out what sex it is!!! Hope everyone is doing well, we miss you all. Next post will be at 18 weeks and next pictures and post will be at 20 weeks!!!

14 Weeks!

So I made it through my 1st trimester!!! I am feeling so much better this week, but cant stop eating! I think the baby is growing and becoming much more active!! We still do not know if it is a boy or girl yet! We will find that out (hopefully if the baby is laying right) at our next ultrasound on Aug 23rd at 1000am! We cannot wait for that appointment! I go for more blood work on July 28th and then a check up on July 29th! Right now we are at a waiting stage and just trying to stay healthy! The next picture I will post at 16 weeks!! We love and miss you all!!!

12 Weeks!

We finally are done with the 1st three months! I am feeling better, but the nausea still comes and goes! Today we had our ultrasound and we are so excited! We are having one baby, and it was super active today once it woke up! It tossed and turned and even showed us its feet and hands! We go again at 16 weeks for more blood work (its routine for gentic testing) and then at 20 weeks we will have another ultrasound to make sure all the bones and organs and have grown correctly and we find out the sex at this time! We are so excited, and we hope you enjoy the pics!!!

10 Weeks

I am 10 weeks pregnant this week. Even though I have been really sick, we are still very excited about our bundle of joy. More then anything I have been super sleepy and just wanting to eat every two hours. That has been a huge change from 2 meals a day to about 5 or 6 a day. Haha

We have had two doctors appointment and everything is looking great. Our next ultrasound is June 28Th at 10:00am. We are really excited for this one, because we will finally be able to see if it is one or two!!! And we get to hear the heartbeat! Stay tune for the update!

8 Weeks
